Preeya Kalidas is a well known and respected Broadcaster, Actress and Singer/Songwriter. 

She can be heard regularly on BBC Radio 2 and hosted her own weekly show on BBC Asian Network for the past five years. 

On Television, Preeya made a great impact when joining the nations favourite continuing series Eastenders alongside the Masood family playing Amira Shah as part of a popular storyline. Preeya has also played the lead Carmen in BAFTA nominated BBC Three's Bollywood Carmen. She has also featured in Channel 4's Britz with Riz Ahmed , has been a series regular in Mistresses on BBC One, plus featured in Bodies, Casualty and Doctors.

She made history being the first British Asian Female to play the lead in a musical starring in AR Rahman and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Bombay Dreams. She has also starred in award winning film Four Lions and international hit film Bend it like Beckham.

On Stage she's also featured in Bend it Like Beckham The Musical (was nominated at the prestigious Olivier Awards), Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, School of Rock and played The Narrator in Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Showcasing Preeya’s versatile career she has collaborated with Mercury Award winning artist Skepta , singing on hit record Cross My Heart. She's also written and worked with producers Naughty Boy, Labrinth and Steel Banglez.

She has also co- hosted at the Asian Music Awards , Brit Asian Music Awards and What’s on Stage Awards.
